Welcome to Duck Trap Decoys
This marks our 50th year at Ducktrap!

Duck Trap Decoys features the largest selection of hand-carved decoys in the State of Maine. Whether your interest is "antique", new, miniature, or lifesize ducks, or wildlife paintings, we have something that should interest you in our gallery. We also offer decoys for seabird restoration projects, and our decoys are in use from Scandanavia and the UK all the way out to Wake Island in the Pacific.Commissions are always welcome.

Stop in for a visit when you're in Mid-Coast Maine. We're just off US Route 1, a mile north of Lincolnville Beach. Just look for our blue and white directional signs on the highway. If you want to log our position into your Garmin, our street address is 9 Simmons Court, Lincolnville ME 0484

Sad to say, this will be the last year for our gallery. We've made a lot of friends over the years and enjoyed talking with visitors from near and far but we're short of help now and our time is best spent carving and painting. We plan to keep right on producing decoys but will switch our focus to smaller pieces and will be selling them through this site and others online.

As you can see, these days, the term "decoy" can apply to anything from a hunting decoy like the Oldsquaw to a fully realistic miniature Greenwing Teal Hen like the one just above.
